After GeCube and Sapphire, it is now PowerColor's time to unveil a dual-GPU Radeon HD 2600 card. PowerColor's new offer is called HD 2600 X2 and it seems to be true to the name already mentioned in the Catalyst 7.9 driver which lists the Radeon HD 2600 X2 Series next to the
2900 Pro. The dual-GPU card features, as expected two RV630 chips, each with a 128-bit memory interface and clocked at 800 MHz. The card boasts 512MB of GDDR3 memory (256MB per GPU) clocked at 1400 MHz and comes with CrossFire support.
The card has not been priced but one thing that might make it more appealing is the apparent smaller size when compared to the version produced by GeCube and Sapphire.
