The G80 GeForce 8800 GTS has taken quite a beating from its younger brother, the 8800 GT but Nvidia is set on making things right. Enter the new, G92-powered GeForce 8800 GTS 512, a card that will have less memory than the 'old' GTS - 512MB but more horsepower under the heatsink.

The 8800 GTS 512 will have no less than 128 Stream Processors enabled, a core clock of 650 MHz, shaders at 1625 MHz and GDDR3 memory at 1940 MHz. The card will be 9-inches long, will feature a dual-slot cooler and will not be supporting tri-SLI. The GeForce 8800 GTS 512 will be officially introduced on December 3rd and will have a price tag hovering between $299 and $349.
