Thinking that 2000 MHz memory is already outdated as both A-Data and Walton Chaintech have announced such products Team Group has went all out for CES and, to top its module line-up it has showcased 2133 MHz DDR3 memory. This is the highest frequency DDR3 memory announced and it set to work with latencies of 10-10-10-30 and at 2.1 to 2.2V, significantly more than the JEDEC standard of 1.5V. To cool off this Top Cat of DDR3 memory Team Group has equipped the modules with a "Super Thermal Conduction Black Heat Spreader".
The new memory is set to be available as a 2GB dual channel kit and will have a lifetime warranty. No word on retail availability of pricing though. In addition to the 2133 MHz memory, Team Group's CES booth has DDR3 1866, 1600 MHz and a few more DDR2 kits on display.
