Gearing up for the official release of the Radeon HD 3870 X2, Asus has two R680 aces up its sleeve. Codenamed EAH3870X2/G/3DHTI/1G and EAH3870X2/G/HTDI/1G, the two boards are equipped with two RV670 GPUs, 1GB of on-board memory and are clocked at 825 and 1800 MHz for the cores and GDDR3 memory.

Both bundled with Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts, the cards are differentiated by a couple of DVI connectors - the R.O.G. version having four - and the cooling system. The Republic of Gamers version, which you can view just below, comes with a dual-slot, dual-fan cooling system which, although not alone as GeCube has something remotely similar, is looking quite solid and probably more efficient compared to the stock cooler.
