
Despite Intel's currently-know plans to only have one (LGA775) processor with a 1600 MHz FSB - the QX9770, support for this frequency is something that motherboard manufacturers want to have and promote. As a result, they work into the night and provide BIOSes for motherboards that support the 1600 FSB. Following Asus'
listing of its 1600FSB-ready motherboard it is now MSI's time to tell us which of its products can come with that bus.
As you can see in the image below MSI has X38 and P35 motherboards ready for 1600 FSB CPUs but there's no mention of X48 boards (which are up on its site though).
