HP's not so low-cost
Compaq 2133 sub-notebook is looking pretty good so the plan now is to release it as soon as April. Expected to battle Asus' upcoming Eee PC refresh and other laptops from Acer, Gigabyte and MSI, the 8.9-inch screen-equipped Compaq 2133 is apparently suggesting instant success to its maker as it has been reported that HP has ordered no less than 2 million units from Wistron, the OEM contracted to build them.
The 2 million order is pretty bold when thinking that HP will have a lot of competitors but we wish them lots of luck. Now let's see those 2.0 Eee PCs.
