The B3 Phenoms are finally out, the Business Class platform is under way, so AMD is now looking ahead and making arrangements for its next releases which include two 45nm processors codenamed Deneb. These are expected to be released in November (yes, 2008) and will be preceded by a few 'new' 65nm Phenoms, including the 2.6 GHz X4 9950 and the energy-efficient 9150e and 9350e.
Back to the 45nm front, the first two releases will be parts clocked between 2.4 and 2.8 GHz and will feature 6MB of L3 cache, HyperTransport 3.0 and TDPs of 95W. As the latest rumors say, AMD is set to skip the release of AM2+ 45nm CPUs and will adopt the AM3 socket a little earlier than expected. With AM3 comes support for DDR3 memory.
