System enclosed in compact cases are pretty much used to suffering in the performance department, especially when it comes to graphics which require discrete cards. Wanting to partially right the wrong, Galaxy has been working on something that although it won't break any 3DMark records, will offer some quite decent performance to HTPCs. Nicknamed 'Blade,' the new discrete graphics card from Galaxy is a low-profile GeForce 9600 GT. Taking up one PCI slot, the card offers 512MB of memory an a stock clocked G94 chip with 64 Stream Processors.

Although the Blade has to settle with no SLI support, it can still provide its owner with a TV-Out and a HDMI port. Unfortunately, it's not yet clear when the card will be released.
