We don't know that's up with the P45 but it turned out to be quite a muse for at least two manufacturers, Gigabyte and Asus (although MSI isn't far off either). The latest crazy LGA775 contraption inspired and using the P45 chip comes from Asus and is named P45 P5Q Premium. On this upcoming board the Taiwanese manufacturer has put pretty much everything and after a short break, came back and doubled that. To detail, the P5Q Premium features support for Core 2 Duo/Quad/Extreme processors with FSBs of up to 1600 MHz, DDR2 memory, it has 16-phase power design and four PCI-Express x16 slots (it's likely that not all are x16 electrical).

Asus didn't stop too soon though so it also equipped the board with four Ethernet connectors, 10 USB 2.0 ports, no less than 10 (ten) SATA 3.0 Gbps ports and 7.1 channel audio. To wrap things up, the P5Q Premium features Power On and Reset buttons, a decent copper cooling system and a now ancient Ultra ATA connector. Expect the P45 P5Q Premium to hit the stores next month.
