Ritek Corp. is set on updating its solid state drive offer and for that it has prepared the RiDATA Ultra-S Plus drives. Equipped with MLC (multi-level cell) NAND flash chips, the new 2.5-inch SSDs come in 32, 64 and 128 GB capacities and have SATA 3.0 Gbps interfaces.

Claimed to have a MTBF (mean time before failure) of 4 million hours, the Ultra-S Plus drives offer read and write speeds of up to 128 MB/s and 80 MB/s respectively. The new 32, 64 and 128GB MLC flashy drives will become available around the end of this month at prices of about $169.90, $294.90 and $537.90 respectively.
