Hong Kong-based AMD partner Force3D is preparing the release of two new Radeon HD 4800 cards, both being 'special' due to their use of Arctic Cooling's Accelero Twin Turbo dual-fan VGA cooler. The Black Edition Radeon HD 4850 and 4870 will thus have at their disposal a quad-heatpiped, 350 grams cooling solution with two 80mm fans that can work at a a top speed of 2000 RPM (rotations per minute).

The cooling system used is said to lower both the noise output and temperatures of the cards so it's almost a win-win situation. The almost comes from the added cost, which is yet undetermined as Force3D hasn't said how much the two cards will cost. Nor did it say when they'll hit the stores of if they will be factory overclocked. It's a good thing the suspense isn't killing us (softly).
