According to a
recent report VIA has landed an order for its latest low-power processors, the Nanos, from Dell arch-rival HP. Although nothing has been announced, HP may very well be using the Nano CPUs for updated version of its 2133 Mini-note PCs which are currently powered by VIA C7 processors.
As revealed by a few tests posted online, the Nano, which is based on the Isaiah architecture, is pretty much beating the popular Intel Atom at everything except energy efficiency. HP should be releasing Nano-powered netbooks/notebooks around October.
