Zotac has just released a couple of new Zone-branded cards, this time powered by the G96 GPU and targeting the low-end segment. The GeForce 9500 GT Zone Edition cards come in two flavors, with either 512MB of GDDR2 or GDDR3 memory and equipped with passive cooling solutions which make them totally silent.

Featuring common things like DirectX 10 support, a 128-bit memory interface, PCI-Express 2.0 x16 connectivity and SLI readiness, the two cards released by Zotac have the same GPU clock - 550 MHz, their 32 Stream Processors set to 1375 MHz but come with different memory frequencies - the GDDR2 model comes with a 800 MHz clock while the GDDR3 version goes all the way up to 1600 MHz.

The new cards also feature dual-DVI connectivity and can be found around Europe for as low as 55.92 Euro and 71.40 Euro.
