September will be a busy month for AMD as its plans are to release the dual-GPU Radeon HD 4850 X2 in order to kick more greenish back parts and the
Radeon HD 4600 series cards, for the same purpose. Lowering the price bar of the HD 4000 family further, the 4670 and 4650 cards are closing in fast so it comes to no surprise that the interweb is flooded with pictures of them. This time, the Radeon HD 4670 got in front of the camera and you can see the result just below.
Powered by the 55nm RV730 chip, the HD 4670 has 320 Stream Processors, DirectX 10.1 and CrossFire support and a 128-bit memory interface. The card is cooled off by a single-slot system and has a 750 MHz GPU clock and, depending on the amount of on-board memory, 512 or 1024 MB, has a memory frequency of 2000 MHz or 1736 MHz respectively. According to the info currently available the Radeon HD 4670 will be officially introduced on September 10.
