Acer has just become today's bearer of good news as it has announced that its light and stylish netbook, the Aspire one just got cheaper. The price cuts for the Intel Atom-powered, 8.9-inch LCD-equipped Aspire one are taking effect in the US for starters and they see the Windows XP-loaded model going down from $399 to $349 and the Linux model falling from $379 to $329.
In addition to the price cuts Acer has introduced a new Aspire one model, dubbed AOA150-1447 which targets business and education customers. This machine features the same basic specs as the previously-released versions with two exceptions, it has a 160GB hard drive and a 6-cell battery but it also comes with a higher price tag - $399.
