Following yesterday's unofficial unveiling of Zotac's GeForce 9400 GT, it was Gigabyte's time to show off its next cheap as expensive chips offer. Pictured below, Gigabyte's card really doesn't show its market segment and actually looks pretty good for its sub-$100 price tag. Featuring a blue PCB, the card has 512MB of GDDR2 memory, a 128-bit interface and offers the powa of 16 Stream Processors.

Also equipped with a cooling system that's reasonably larger than that used on Zotac's 9400 GT, the blue-green Gigabyte card has stock frequencies and that translates into GPU, shader and memory clocks of 550, 1400 and 800 MHz respectively. Also, for extra value Gigabyte is bundling the GeForce 9400 GT with a DVI to HDMI adapter. No word on a release date.
