Micros-Star International has just introduced a new Gaming series notebook, the 17-inch GX711. Coming with Windows Vista Home Premium pre-installed, the laptop measures 395 x 278 x 26.5-35 mm and has colored W, A, S, D buttons plus a sound system that consists of four speakers and a built-in subwoofer.

Spec wise, the GX711 makes use of a the RX690 + SB600 chip combo, either Turion X2 Ultra or Sempron Mobile processors, up to 4GB of RAM and a Radeon Mobility HD 3650 graphics card with 512MB of dedicated memory. For storage, the GX711 buyer can choose either a 160, 250 or 320GB SATA hard drive but he/she will also be able to get a bit more bits via the included 5-in-1 (XD/SD/MMC/ MS/MS PRO) card reader.

The GX711 is just now starting to reach stores and at least one configuration can be found for about 1050 Euro.
