Wannabe SanDisk buyer, Samsung has just announced the NC10, its own 10-inch, Atom-powered netbook. Set to come in white, black and blue, the NC10 has a SuperBright display with a native resolution of 1024x600 pixels, an Atom CPU clocked at 1.6 GHz, either an 80 or 160GB hard drive and a 3- or 6-cell battery.
The new netbook makes use of Microsoft Windows XP, has a 1.3 megapixel camera, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0, a 3-in-1 memory card reader and, to set itself apart it boasts an anti-bacterial and ergonomic keyboard. According to Samsung, the NC10's keys are sprinkled with nano-sized silver ion powder which prevents bacteria from living or breeding thus creating a clean typing environment.
