Staying true to the saying "when it rains, it pours" we now have another X58 motherboard stepping in, or, to be precise returning, to watch the birdie and say 'cheese'. The culprit is MSI's X58
middle-man, the Eclipse motherboard which was last seen
August but is now back in all its practically finished version.
Equipped with a non-CircuPipe copper-made cooling system, the upcoming Enthusiast level board has support for Socket 1366 Core i7 processors, triple-channel DDR3 memory via six RAM slots and three PCI-Express x16 slots that are both SLI and CrossFireX-ready.
The Eclipse also features 10 SATA 3.0 Gbps and two eSATA ports, a DMA channel, dual Gigabit Ethernet, Power, Reset and Clear CMOS buttons, plus a detachable D-LED2 LCD screen and a X-Fi PCIe x1 sound card. The X58 Eclipse will probably hit the stores in early November.
