
Likely to arrive before the HD 4850 X2, the GeForce 9800 GT-challenging Radeon HD 4830, the lowest-end model in the Radeon HD 4800 series has now been pictured. Seen below is MSI's implementation of the 4830 and it features a dual-slot cooler, a red PCB and 512MB of GDDR3 memory backed by a 256-bit interface.
The upcoming card has a 640 Stream Processor-loaded 55nm RV770 GPU clocked at 575 MHz, 1800 MHz memory and dual-DVI connectivity. Previously set for an October 21st release, the Radeon HD 4830 is now expected to arrive on the 23rd.
