Apparently on Fridays, when it rains, it rains some more so, after
seeing MSI's Radeon HD 4830 implementation we can now contemplate at what Sapphire has done with the 55nm RV770LE chip. Featuring a PCI-Express 2.0 interface and the power of 640 Stream Processors, the upcoming card has a blue PCB, 512MB of GDDR3 memory clocked at 1800 MHz and a GPU set at 575 MHz.
The Radeon HD 4830 also features a 256-bit memory interface, dual-DVI connectivity, CrossFireX support and is cooled off by a dual-slot solution which is supposed to be both efficient and quiet. If nothing goes wrong, Sapphire's HD 4830 should be officially introduced next week on the 23rd.
