Larabee laborer and all-round chip titan Intel has just detailed a discontinuation schedule for a large number of 65nm dual-core (Woodcrest) and quad-core (Clovertown) Xeon processors. The models set to get the axe are the 1.86 GHz Xeon 5120, 2.66 GHz 5150, 2.33 GHz LV 5148, 1.60 GHz 5110, 2.0 GHz 5130, 2.33 GHz 5140 and 3.0 GHz 5160 dual cores, plus the 1.86 GHz E5320, 1.86 GHz L5320, 3.0 GHz X5365, 2.66 GHz X5355, 1.60 GHz E5310, 2.33 GHz E5345, 2.0 GHz E5335 and 2.0 GHz L5335 quads.

Intel will be taking orders for these processors until April 23rd 2009 and will ship them to customers until July 23rd. Now bring on those Nehalem-EPs.
