Micro-Star International is showing AMD's latest graphics card
release a lot of love as, right off the bat, it unveiled four models powered by the 55nm-built RV770LE chip. Dubbed R4830-T2D512, R4830-T2D512-OC, R4830-T2D1G and R4830-T2D1G-OC, the new cards are very similar in terms of design and feature red PCBs, dual-slot cooling solutions equipped with a Seaweed-Blade fan, 4+1 phase power, DirectX 10.1 support, CrossFireX readiness, a 256-bit memory interface and dual-DVI connectivity.
Both the 512MB-equipped R4830-T2D512, R4830-T2D512-OC and the 1GB-boasting R4830-T2D1G, R4830-T2D1G-OC models have a memory frequency of 1800 MHz but they differ a bit when it comes to GPU frequency. The non-OC cards have a stock GPU frequency of 575 MHz while the factory overclocked versions have their RV770LEs set to 585 MHz.
For now, only the R4830-T2D512, R4830-T2D512-OC are available in stores and they cost about
120 Euro and
130 Euro respectively.
