GeForce models, Asus' Matrix series of graphics cards will soon show Radeons some love and welcome a HD 4850 among its ranks.
Pictured below, the EAH4850 MATRIX/HTDI/512M is powered by a 55nm RV770 GPU with 800 Stream Processors, has 512MB of GDDR3 memory and the all-important "exclusive" dual-slot Hybrid Cooler. As the previously-released Matrix cards, the EAH4850 MATRIX should come with stock frequencies - 625 MHz (GPU) / 1986 MHz (memory), and feature:
- Integrated hardware and software for total graphics card control
- Accurate adjustments of the GPU and memory voltages
- Complete monitoring of the GPU/memory/Power IC/ambient temperatures
- Complete monitoring of the GPU/memory/board power consumption
- Automatic control of fan speeds according to advanced GPU loading detection
- Power savings that surpasses generic boards
- Customizable functions to add a new level of control for gamers
The Matrix Radeon HD 4850 is expected to hit the stores in November.
