ExtremeFFS maker SanDisk is pretty much in-line with other memory manufacturers - losing money and in need of lowering its expenses so as to cope with the current down run of the global economies. For Q3 SanDisk has reported a $155 million loss and since the future isn't looking bright, the rumors have it that the company is preparing a new round of job cuts.

SanDisk is expected to lower its worldwide workforce, which currently stands at about 3,000 people, by up to 15% in the coming months and save quite a nice sum. No official word from SanDisk but it may just wait for the holiday season to pass.
