Acer's Japanese arm has just released a new 16:9 24-inch LCD monitor, the P244Wbmii. Based on the P244W model, this latest creation has a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a 2 ms (G2G) response time and a (dynamic) contrast ratio of 20,000:1.

The P244Wbmii also features Adaptive Contrast Management (ACM) for improved gradation and detail, comes with two 3W speakers (none on the P244W) and offers one D-Sub and two HDMI 1.1 ports. Weighting in 6.3 kg, Acer's monitor can be found at about $465.
