Expected since summer, one of the two energy efficient triple-core Phenom processors readies by AMD, the Phenom X3 8450e has now started to become available with those in Japan already able to buy one for $107.

The 8450e comes in an AM2+ package, has a stock frequency of 2.1 GHz, 2MB of L3 cache, HyperTransport 3.0, and a TDP of 65W, as opposed to the 95W of the X3 8450. The 1.9 GHz Phenom X3 8250e is set to follow the X3 8450e and reach stores soon.
