AMD-loving AIB, Sapphire Technology is preparing the introduction of a new intoxicating and custom graphics card, the Radeon HD 4870 1GB Toxic. Seen below, the card is equipped with a dual-slot Vapor-X cooler which makes use of the Vapor Chamber Technology (VCT) and three copper heatpipes, has a 256-bit memory interface and 1GB of GDDR5 memory, CrossFireX support, DirectX 10.1, and dual-DVI connectivity.

In terms of clocks, the upcoming card likely resembles the 512MB Toxic version and has a 800 Stream Processor-boasting 55nm RV770 GPU set to 780 MHz (750 MHz stock) and a memory frequency of 4000 MHz (3600 MHz). The Sapphire Radeon HD 4870 1GB Toxic Edition should reach stores in the coming weeks. No word on pricing.
