Challenging the big boys (Asus, Gigabyte, MSI) in terms of number of X58-powered motherboards, DFI has now introduced two new Core i7-ready LANParty boards, the DK X58-T3eH6 (ATX) and the little giant (that could), the microATX JR X58-T3H6. Already covered here, the JR X58-T3H6 features Core i7 CPU support, six triple-channel-ready DDR3 memory slots, two PCI-Express x16 slots for SLI or CrossFireX setups, six SATA 3.0 Gbps ports, 7.1 channel audio and Gigabit Ethernet.

The LANParty DK X58-T3eH6 includes similar features to which it adds an extra PCIe x16 slot (enabling triple-SLI support) and two more SATA ports. Both new boards also have a debug LED, Power, Reset and Clear CMOS buttons, and the Genie BIOS. The DK X58-T3eH6 and JR X58-T3H6 are expected to be available 'soon'.
