Trying to make a few waves with its presence at CES 2009, Power Quotient International aka PQI will be introducing a number of flash-based storage devices including 1.8-inch and 2.5-inch solid state drives, Express Cards and flash drives. Featuring a microSATA and SATA interface, the 1.8-inch and 2.5-inch SSDs respectively come in capacities of up to 128GB, make use of MLC (multi-level cell) NAND flash chips and have low access times, power consumption and enhanced durability. The 2.5-inch models are said to offer read and write speeds of up to 154.1 MB/s and 90.8 MB/s respectively.

As mentioned above, PQI will also display a new ExpressCard SSD, the 32GB S520 at CES and will debut the 64GB eSATA Combo Card S530 which has both eSATA and USB connectivity and reaches a maximum read speed (on eSATA) of 90 MB/s. Moreover, those attending CES will be able to see PQI's waterproof USB flash drives and Intelligent Drive i828, winner of Product Design Award 2009 ~ German iF Award.
