
After seeing
Galaxy playing around with the GeForce GTX 260 design, Zotac decided to do something similar but to a more powerful card, the GTX 285. Pictured below, the first non-reference GeForce GTX 285 actually has stock clocks - 648 MHz for the GPU, 1476 MHz for the shaders and 2484 MHz for the 1GB of GDDR3 memory, but features a tweaked 6+2 phase power design which sees the two supply parts for the memory not at the back of the card but in front, just under the SLI connectors.
Zotac's GeForce GTX 285 has yet to receive a release date but it may just make its debut early next month at CeBIT.
