Tokyo-based Logitec has now announced that the LHD-ED line-up of external hard drives will soon be updated with a few 1.5TB models. Coming in three flavors - with USB 2.0 (LHD-EDU2), FireWire + USB 2.0 (LHD-EDFU2) and eSATA + USB 2.0 (LHD-EDSAU2), the new drives measure 42 × 225 × 132.5 mm, weight 1.1 kg and feature SATA HDDs working at 7200 RPM (rotations per minute).

Backed by a one-year warranty, the 1.5TB LHD-ED external drives will go on sale around the end of this month at prices from about $282 to $304.
