Yet to be officially announced, Asus' Core i7-supporting microATX Republic of Gamers motherboard, the Rampage II Gene has already been detailed and now, it has even been unboxed. Coming in a lovely crimson box, the board is powered by the X58 + ICH10R chip combo, has six DDR3-2000 memory slots, two PCI-Express x16 slots for SLI or CorssFireX setups, one eSATA and seven SATA 3.0 Gbps ports, Gigabit Ethernet and 7.1 channel audio.

The RIIG also comes with Power, Reset and Clear CMOS buttons, is bundled with 3DMark06 and is expected to become available next month.
