While we're still waiting on the first X-Slim model, the 320 to hit stores, a couple more thin laptops from the same family have been spotted. For now, what's known about the 13.4-inch X-Slim 340 and 15.6-inch 600 is that, as opposed to the 320 and its 1.6 GHz Atom, they will be equipped with Core 2 ULV (ultra-low voltage) CPUs. Both will feature D-Sub and HDMI outputs, with the larger model set to also offer an eSATA port.
The X340 is expected to cost from $699 to $999 but, as with all X-Slim laptops, it's unknown when it will hit the stores. Expected to see the X-Slim trio at CeBIT early next month.
