Craving more attention from Folding@home users, Asus has presented at CeBIT a motherboard that packs no less than seven (7) PCI-Express x16 slots (four are x16 and three are x8 electrical). Dubbed P6T7 WS Supercomputer, the board is powered by the X58 chipset, is equipped with two Nvidia NF200 chips for extra PCIe lanes and is claimed to be the "best choice for intensive parallel computing demand."
Not yet dated, Asus' PCIe freak also has six DDR3 memory slots that support up to 24GB of RAM, six SATA, two SAS (Serial Attached SCSI) and two eSATA ports, Gigabit Ethernet and 7.1 channel audio. Be sure not to drool over the keyboard.
