Following the CeBIT preview, MSI has now officially announced the Wind U110 ECO, a new netbook promising a battery life of up to 9 hours. Seen below, the U110 ECO features a 10-inch LCD screen, an Atom Z530 (1.6 GHz) processor, 1GB of RAM (support for 2GB of memory), a 80, 120 or 160GB hard drive and, if we're to believe MSI's website, an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3200. This is obviously a typo as the HD 3200 is the AMD 780G's IGP, and the 780G has support for AMD CPUs. The netbook actually includes Intel integrated graphics.
The new Wind also boasts a 4-in-1 card reader, a 1.3 or 2.0 megapixel camera, Ethernet and WiFi, a 3- or 6-cell battery, and Windows XP Home. The Wind U110 ECO can be found at prices starting at
449 Euro.
