
Acer-owner cube and computer constructor, Gateway, has just revealed the newest addition to its P-series notebook line-up, the P-7808u FX Edition. Measuring 33-43 (H) x 400 (W) x 298 (D) mm and weighting in 4.11 kg, the laptop features a 17-inch LCD screen with a maximum resolution of 1440 x 900 pixels, illuminated multimedia keys, a brushed metal keyboard, and a synaptics touchpad with vertical scroll.
Spec wise, the P-7808u FX can brag with the 2.0 GHz Core 2 Quad Q9000 CPU, 4GB of RAM, a 500GB hard drive, a GeForce 9800M GTS with 1GB of dedicated memory, and more common things like a 5-in-1 card reader, a 1.3 megapixel camera, an ExpressCard slot, Gigabit Ethernet and WiFi, an 8x DVD writer, and two built-in speakers.
