Cutting down on the tease factor, Dell has now finally announced the first model in the Adamo series. Featuring a sleek, Onyx or Pearl aluminum unibody, the upcoming laptop is just 1.65cm thick, it weights 1.81kg and comes with a 13.4-inch 16:9 display, a Core 2 Duo CPU (at least the 1.2 GHz SU9300), up to 4GB of RAM, Intel X4500 integrated graphics and a solid state drive (128GB and likely above).

The laptop also boasts WiFi, Ethernet, Bluetooth 2.1, optional 3G, a battery offering up to 5 hours of 'life' and Windows XP Home Premium 64bit as the OS. Now available for pre-order at prices starting at $1999, the 13-inch Adamo will start shipping on March 26 in no less than 24 countries - U.S., Canada, Mexico, Brazil, U.K. France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Russia, Sweden, Switzerland, UAE, ANZ, China, Honk Kong, India, Korea, Malaysia/Singapore, Japan, and Indonesia.
