Taiwan-based Asus has now unveiled a new addition to its Matrix line-up of graphics cards, the ENGTX260 MATRIX/HTDI/896MD3. Seen below, the upcoming Republic of Gamers-branded product is a GeForce GTX 260 which features stock clocks - 576, 1242 and 1998 MHz for the GPU, shaders an d memory, and comes with the Hybrid Cooler+ and quite a few interesting features like GPU/memory/Power IC monitoring and the Super Hybrid Engine.

To tackle the most obvious thing, the Hybrid Cooler+ is a cooling solution which occupies two slots, has two fans that work on various speeds, depending on the card's temperatures. Moreover, for those not happy about the frequencies available (BEd: Us included), the card can have its GPU and memory voltages increased quickly and easily to take the GPU, 216 PCs and 896MB of GDDR3 memory to 700, 1500 and 2300 MHz respectively. The Matrix series GeForce GTX 260 should reach stores in the next few weeks.
