Now that we
know the general things about AMD's Radeon HD 4890 it's only fair that Nvidia's answer, the GeForce GTX 275 would get a bit more exposure too. While here are no pictures of the upcoming card a new
report claims that the GTX 275 features a 55nm GT200 GPU (with 240 Processing Cores @ 1404 MHz) clocked at 663 MHz, which is quite close to the GTX 285's 648 MHz frequency and significantly higher compared to the 576 MHz of the GTX 260.
Also boasting a 448-bit memory interface, the GTX 275 is said to have a memory clock of 2328 MHz, the usual 3-way SLI support, PhysX, CUDA and a recommended price tag of $249. The GeForce GTX 275 is expected to arrive around the same time the Radeon HD 4890 makes its debut, likely on April 6th.
