Bit keeper Pretec has now announced that it has begun to ship the 'Cobra', its first dual interfaces SSD (read flash drive). Coming in 32 and 64GB capacities, the Cobra is a drive boasting both USB 2.0 and eSATA connectivity, with one worthy mention being that it is compliant with Power Over eSATA specifications, meaning it will be able to draw both watts and data from the eSATA output, no need for a separate power source.

While not providing the Cobra's pricing, Pretec has revealed that it will offer transfer speeds of up to 90 MB/s (reading) and 60 MB/s (writing) via eSATA.
