Taking another swing at Shuttle, AOpen has now announced the XC Encore OE700 HTPC-prone barebone. Seen below, the system comes in a 10.6 (H) x 20 (W) x 32.1 (D) cm case equipped with a 135W PSU and features a GM45 motherboard which offers support for Core 2 Duo CPUs and up to 4GB of DDR2 memory, GMA X4500 integrated graphics, three SATA ports, 7.1 channel audio, Gigabit Ethernet, and DVI, HDMI outputs.

Also equipped with a slot-in DVD writer, the XC Encore OE700 is yet unpriced.
