With a quite a few years of making power supplies for desktop PCs under its belt, Thermaltake has now turned its attention to the portable segment and introduced the Toughpower Ultra Slim 65W, a universal laptop AC power adapter. Seen below, the adapter measures 75 x 17.8 x 140mm and weights just 214 grams, comes with eight interchangeable DC output tips, has an output of 65W (peaking at 90W), and provides six output voltage settings - 15V, 16V, 18V, 19V, 20V, and 21V.

The Toughpower Ultra Slim 65W is claimed to have an efficiency of over 82% at full load and a MTBF (mean time before failure) of over 100,000 hours, and features over current, over voltage, and short-circuit protection. Thermaltake has yet to provide a price or retail release date for the power adapter. So now we wait.
