Delayed or not, the Core i5 and its partner in attempted Phenom crime, the P55 chipset are still coming this year. As seen at CeBIT and as we'll likely see at Computex in June, the P55 is being embraced by all the usual motherboard-building suspects, with DFI in this case, preparing at least two boards powered by it. The DK P55-T3eH6 has already been seen
last month so today we'll get acquainted with the P55-equipped LANParty UT motherboard.
Packin' an LGA 1156 socket, the P55 LANParty UT has nothing but digital PW, four dual channel-ready DDR3 slots, three PCI-Express x16 slots offering at least CrossFireX support, plus one eSATA and eight SATA 3.0 Gbps ports. The board also includes one flash slot, Power and Reset buttons, a debug LED, no onboard audio but dual Gigabit Ethernet, FireWire and mini USB connectors. The motherboard is said to ship with the Flame Freezer cooler.
