At an event part of its Open Overclocking Championship 2009 Gigabyte has given a quick glimpse at one of its more high-end Intel P55-equipped motherboards. Putting the previously-showcased
GA-HD and
GA-IBP to shame, the yet unnamed Ultra Durable series board has support for Intel's upcoming Socket 1156 processors, comes with four DDR3 memory slots, three PCI-Express x16 slots (CrossFireX support is practically certain, SLI, not so much) and a flash memory slot just like the
LANParty UT P55.
The new blue boy also boasts no less than ten SATA connectors, dual Gigabit Ethernet, 7.1 channel audio, likely eSATA too, DualBIOS, and Power, Reset and Clear CMOS buttons. Expect this, or, better yet, a tweaked version of this motherboard to arrive in the second half of the year together with the Core i5 processors.
