Named G-Monster-Promise PCI-Express SSD, the OCZ Z-Drive resembling storage solution comes in 128, 256, 512GB and 1TB capacities, has a PCI-Express x8 connection interface, MLC (multi-level cell) NAND flash memory chips, 256MB of ECC DDR2 memory and 256MB of SDRAM, a MTBF (mean time before failure) of 2.5 million hours and read/write speeds of up to 1000 MB/s.
Backed by a one-year warranty, the 128, 256, 512GB and 1TB G-Monster-Promise PCI-Express SSD is expected to start selling in Japan later this month for about $1,616 / 1,204 Euro, $2,002 / 1,492 Euro, $3,015 / 2,247 Euro, and $4,534 / 3,380 Euro respectively.
