As we
mentioned a little while back, MSI is cooking up more X-Slim series laptops for release, probably at Computex next month. The upcoming releases are the 14-inch X400 and 15.6-inch X600, both of which will be powered by an Intel CULV (consumer ultra-low voltage) series Core 2 Solo ULV (the 1.2GHz SU3300 or 1.4GHz SU3500).
Coming with a top screen resolution of 1366x768 pixels, the X400 will also feature p to 4GB of RAM, a 250, 320 or 500GB hard drive, GMA 4500MHD integrated graphics, D-Sub and HDMI outputs, and either a 4- (1.5kg) or 8-cell battery. The X600 will have the same screen resolution, as well as memory and hard drive options, but will be available with a 6- (2.1kg) or 9-cell battery and a Mobility Radeon HD 4330 discrete graphics card. The laptops' prices should be revealed soon together with their release date(s).
