Just as we were getting to know the 1008HA, info has come about regarding a couple of new slim and sexy Eee PC models coming up from Asus, the Eee PC 1005HA-A and 1005HA-M. Refraining from stealing the 1008HA's mojo, the the 1005HA netbooks are a little bigger than it and weight more - 1.4kg as opposed to 1.1kg, but also feature 6-cell batteries delivering up to 10 (1005HA-A) and 8 (1005HA-M) of activity.

Both 1005HA machines feature 10-inch screen with a resolution of 1024x600 pixels, 1GB of RAM and an 160GB hard drive, integrated graphics, a 1.3 megapixel webcam, a memory card reader and WiFi. The 1005HA-A packs a 1.66 GHz Atom N280 and also comes with Bluetooth 2.1, while the 1005HA-M lacks the tooth and settles for the 1.60 GHz Atom N270.

Both powered by Windows XP Home Edition SP3 and set to debut in July, the Eee PC 1005HA-A and 1005HA-M will cost 349 and 299 Euro respectively.
