South Korean company Zalman is gearing up to update its cooling offer and introduce a new 'ultra quiet' CPU cooler, the CNPS10X Extreme. Seen below, the cooler measures 135 x 100 x 160 mm, it weights 920 grams and features a copper base and five heatpipes, a nickle-plated heatsink and a dual ball-bearing 120mm fan working at speeds between 1000 and 2500 RPM, with a sound output between 20 and 39dBA.

The CNPS10X Extreme has support for AMD Socket 754, 939, 940, AM2, AM2+, AM3 and Intel LGA 775, 1366, 1156 processors and is to be bundled with a tube of ZM-STG2 thermal grease and the PWM Mate, a handy controller for setting the speed of the cooler's fan. No word on the cooler's price yet.
