Seoul-based Zalman Tech has now introduced a new non-modular power supply, the ZM500-RS. Seen below, the unit delivers 500W of continuous power, is compliant with the ATX12V v2.3 specs and 80Plus certified (with an efficiency of up to 87%), and features a resonant switching circuit design which is supposed to reduce internal heat generation, thus providing more durability.

The PSU has two 12V rails peaking at 22A, has everything from Over-Voltage to Over-Current, Short-Circuit, Under-Voltage, and Over-Temperature protection, and is equipped with a 120mm Hydro Bearing fan. The Zalman ZM500-RS has already started to appear in stores with a price tag of about 92 Euro.
